About Judy

Judy Bernal was first licensed as a realtor in 1990, when she went to work at the Jon Douglas Company in Pasadena. While raising a family and keeping her real estate career active, she also taught part-time in adult education. Since 2012, she has dedicated herself to a full-time career in real estate with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. In 2015 and 2016, she received the prestigious International President’s Circle Award , which places her in the top 6% of all agents internationally. Recently, she has completed numerous trust and probate transactions, furthering her goal of being a specialist in Probate, Trust, and Conservatorship properties.

An area native, Judy was raised on the Westside of Los Angeles. She attended high school at the Buckley School in Sherman Oaks and went on to UCLA where she got a Bachelor of Arts in History. During her undergraduate years, she had the opportunity to spend her junior year in Salzburg, Austria.  Following her college education, Judy received teaching credentials in Single Subject and Multiple Subjects from CSULA. She also received the Bilingual Certificate of Competence in Spanish from LAUSD.

Judy is grateful for the opportunities she has received, and believes in giving back to the
community. Along with donating to numerous charitable organizations, she has volunteered
her time at the San Marino-South Pasadena YMCA for over 18 years. She has also volunteered at Pasadena Unified School District, County USC Hospital, First United Methodist Church in Pasadena, the local PTA, and Friends in Deed, to name a few. Her interests and hobbies include reading, traveling, cooking, exercising and spending time with friends and family.
